She's poor, she's ugly, and she is so big.

She is a joke among all of our peers.

Chen:
I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry!
I should have been here a little early.
I'm grateful for your kind invitation,

Jen's Mom:
Chen, our home is open to everyone,
So feel at home and enjoy the food, Hon.
We even feed beggars and the homeless,

My mom cooks it only for our close friends,

So Jen and Chen became the best buddies,
They're allies and had the same enemies.
Unknown to Chen, Jen hated her so deeply,
The latter's good at hiding enmity.

Jen spoiled Chen with food, gifts, and amusement,
Chen never ever doubted Jen's intent.
Behind Jen's sweet smile is an evil plan,
A plan long designed by her evil clan.

I'm so sick of acting and pretending!
I can't wait to spoil Chen's happy ending.
But Mom, what if things do not go as planned?
Let's have a Plan B if things go offhand.

Jen's Mom:
There's no need for Plan B or Plan C, Jen.
We used a scheme that's tested and proven.
People believe we are kind and gentle,
They will all think it's just accidental.

It wasn't hard to make my mom say yes,
She loves and trusts you and knows your address.
Where are we going anyway, buddy?
Are we two watching a late night movie?

Jen:
We're going to my favorite chapel
This one's not small and looks like a castle.
I am going to make an offering,
And I thought the best time is this evening.

Chen:
We're going to a chapel at past 6?
Oh Jen, my friend, you're truly eccentric!
I'm starving so, can we grab a bite, first?
Can we have some drinks, too, to quench our thirst?

Jen silently watched as Chen munched her food,
A little more time and she's gone for good.
To Jen, Chen is just a voracious hog,
She is someone that she would love to flog.

After dinner, to the chapel they went,
The place is quiet, no one is present.
It's the first time that Chen went to this place,
It's swish and has an imposing staircase.

It has statues of Egyptian deities,
There are flowers of different varieties.
At the center is a golden sun disk,
On every corner, there's an obelisk.

Jen genuflected and whispered a prayer,
She used a language Chen can't decipher.
Chen felt cold tingles running up her spine,
Now she's sure that everything is not fine.

Jen:
It is done, my friend, we are now leaving,
I'm sorry that I have kept you waiting.
I've been a good friend to you, haven't I?
So for my sake, are you willing to die?

Chen didn't say a word for she's now scared,
She's got the feeling that she's been ensnared.
Wasting no time, she ran fast through the door,
She heard a gunshot and dropped on the floor.

Chen felt a searing pain on her left chest,
There's warm and sticky fluid on her breast.
She touched it with her hand and she saw blood,
As she struggled to stand, she heard a thud.

A man hit her leg with a wooden plank,
It's not so dark, she could see he's a crank.
Bobbing from his pocket is a pistol,
At this point in time, Chen is so baffled.

"Finish her now!", said the voice from behind,
Chen is wounded but she has a clear mind.
That voice is Jen's, minus the gentleness,
Chen's heart is crushed, she's now feeling hopeless. mermaid trumpet prom collections in red or ruby

The gunman shot Chen for the second time,
It turned out Jen masterminded the crime
Jen drove off leaving Chen limp and bloody,
Chen's last words were: Yahweh, I'm sorry...

Chen managed to open her heavy eyes,
Her stretcher is pushed by hospital guys.
Her mother is behind, tagging along,
Happily singing a religious song.

Chen's Mom:
You are very blessed for staying alive!
After many attempts, you were revived.
Jen's family paid for your surgery,
We owe to them your second life, honey.

Jen is traumatized with what you went through,
She left you alone to call for rescue.
The gunman is still unidentified,
But the cops will look for him nationwide.

Chen feels sorry for her doting mother,
If she only knew what happened to her.
She knows well how her mother would react,
If she knows the truth and it's whole impact.

It's for the best that she keeps her lips sealed,
Who will believe if the truth be revealed?
Jen's family is so picture-perfect,
Their image is without any defect.

Jen never showed up at the hospital,
But her mom paid the bills in its total.
Chen acted like she forgot what happened,
What's important is that she's awakened.

So many people are not what they seem,
The image they project is just a scheme.
With God's help, you will know the difference,
When we seek God, He'll end our ignorance.

Chen decided to stay in the same school,
As a reminder that she's once a fool.
Jen will remind her that this world is cruel,
But we have Yahweh who saves us and rules!
