Why it's a bad thing if your partner gets turned on by your orgasm

It's not every day you're faced with the 'downside' of an orgasm , but here we are.
The female orgasm has recently been the focus of scientific research and its findings aren't exactly great news for women.
The Journal of Sex Research recently examined men's reactions to making their partner orgasm. ...
Specifically, the pleasure they derive from it.
Perhaps no surprises here, but it's what the study's researchers, Sara Chadwick and Sari van Anders, refer to as a "masculinity achievement."
In short, the study found the majority of its 810 participants felt more masculine and had higher self esteem when they imagined a woman orgasmed during sex with them.
"These results suggest that women's orgasms do function - at least in part - as a masculinity achievement for men," the researchers explained.
But there's a worrying side to this conclusion.
Chadwick and van Anders, explained why this is a bad thing.
"One reason is that it might pressure some heterosexual men to feel like they have to 'give' women orgasms, as if orgasm is something men pulled out of a hat and presented to women. kids or children liked garments for the prom style
"This ties into cultural ideas of women as passive recipients of whatever men give them."
Not only this, but it means a woman's orgasm cease to be about her enjoyment.
Instead they become another opportunity for men to posture, or "shore up their sense of masculinity."
Basically, "these men, therefore, were more likely to view women's orgasms as a notch on the bedpost of their manliness."
On this slightly depressing note, Chadwick and van Anders issue a small warning and encourage men to not think of an orgasm as a "notch" but to see it for what it is.MIRRO
