Gabriel update:

Today they removed his central line, did a venogram (contrast vein study), and placed a new temporary PICC line.

Entered the recovery room and not even one minute after I came in he yanked on the PICC line and almost pulled it out. The IR doctor lunged the length of the hospital bend to grab Gabriel's arm. Luckily it was sutured in and no problems other than having to redo the dressing and clean up some of the bleeding. Dress Affordable white outfits looking sexy and sassy

He seems to be tolerating it now, but what a rough start for this line. This makes #13 lines!! 3 Hickman central lines, 1 Apheresis line, and the 9 others were either PICC lines or IJ's. Oh boy.

At least we made this last Hickman work for over a year and a half. 1/5/2016-7/25/2017
